The Ridgewood Planning Board and Master Plan Committee are pleased to present the Village of Ridgewood Master Plan draft for preliminary public review and feedback.

Safe Routes to School

The purpose of this project is to support Safe Routes to School (SRTS) safety and access improvements for students who walk and bike to school by connecting and improving sidewalks within the Village of Ridgewood including adding new sidewalk sections, reducing roadway widths to improve crosswalk safety, and installing driver feedback signs in select areas.

Zabriskie-Schedler SHPO Application

We are excited to let you know that plans for the Zabriskie-Schedler Park Project are moving forward! Today, the Village of Ridgewood submitted an application to the State Historic Preservation Office and the Historic Sites Council regarding this long-awaited project. The application seeks approval for a multipurpose public park to be built on the site, which is consistent with the intention of park development when the Village purchased the property in 2009. We are confident this application balances our need for additional recreational and athletic space while maintaining the historical element of the Zabriskie House.
