The Ridgewood Police Traffic Safety Bureau conducts traffic studies, addresses traffic safety complaints from residents, coordinates long-term construction projects, and works with the Patrol Division to ensure department resources are properly utilized to promote public safety on Ridgewood's roadways.
The Traffic Safety Bureau also provides assistance with Child Car Seat installations. Appointments should be made in advance.
The New Jersey Self-Reporting Crash form (SR-1) is used to report a crash that was not investigated by the police and it is the only form that can be used for this purpose.
